"AHH!" the skunk yelled in a high voice. The eagle suddenly changed course to land beside him in the snow.
"Well, I was just going to eat you for breakfast, but first take a look at all the flowers in bloom."
"Huh?" said the skunk, for of course there were no flowers. It was in the middle of January.
"Aha!" said the eagle and he jumped at the skunk.
"Stop!" said a loud and husky voice belonging to a respected badger.****
"He started it, sir," said the eagle.
"No, I was going to get some creamy spinach," said the skunk.
"Well, I shall grant you that," said the badger, "but if anything like this happens again, then I will shoot first, ask questions later."

Sand Gnats Set to Dominate GMBL Minor A Fall Ball
Manassas VA Sept 7th,
The GMBL (Greater Manassas Baseball League) fall ball has begun. The Sand Gnats have had four practices. Equipped with powerhouses Brent Boggs, Kegan Bell, Nicole Bill, and Aneurin Minson are set to dominate. Led by Robert Bell, the Sand Gnats have lost one, but put up a good game with their inexperienced players. They play the Rockhounds again on Wednesday. Their pitcher Brent Boggs is going to miss that game, but with backups such as Nicole Bill, Aneurin Minson, and John Wunderly, they should be able to shut them down. And with hitters like Ryan Rhodes, Kegan Bell, and Jason Sallade, they have a good chance.
Who Will Be the Winner?
Gareth the Sports Guru
For this Fall Ball season at G.M.B.L (Greater Manassas Baseball League), the team going by the name of Express is not going to have a winning season. With a new and inexperienced coach, this is going to be pitiful to watch. My ranking: three baseballs.
One team I have been watching is the Volcanoes, with a strong bullpen, and dedicated players. This is going to be exciting. My ranking: ten baseballs.
However another team the Ironbirds, I think that they are going to win games against teams like the Express. However, teams like the Volcanoes will will be trouble for them this season. My ranking: five baseballs.
